My wonderful dad turned
60 on January 29th, and my mom and I had quite the suprise planned for him. We wanted this year to be special, because he does A LOT of good for A LOT of people, and we thought he deserved to be recognized for that. We planned a suprise party with all his friends, family, and ward members. We had to do a lot of lying the past few weeks, but we figured it was for a good cause! There were some great ladies in my mom's ward and some aunties that helped us out, and we couldn't have done it without them. I think my dad was genuinely suprised. He walked in, we yelled "SUPRISE!" and he turned around and walked back out! We started singing "Happy Birthday" and when he came back in he was a little emotional. It was great! It was a fun night of fun, food, and celebrating one amazing guy. We love you dad!!!

We opted for blue and silver. Black is just downright depressing.

Natty it looks like your dad had a great 60th... It looks fun and I know it meant a bunch to him that you guys had such a great surprise for him... I have always thought your dad was a wonderful guy... Hope the year a head is great for him... Good seeing you friday and I am starting to read our book. Lots of love- P
