So I've decided that I want to start a new posting that I will do regularly called "My Favorite People". To start it off, I'm going to talk about my husband Adam. He's been a part of my life for 8 1/2 years. I met him when I was 17, and my life was never the same from then on out!! He is the kind of man who wears his heart on his sleeve. I never have to pry him for information, he's always very willing to share with me his thoughts and feelings. Living with him, I am laughing constantly! He's got a really fun sense of humor, and he's not afraid to make fun of himself. I think the thing I admire most about Adam is that he has overcome HUGE obstacles in his life. He is so committed to bettering himself in every aspect. He is always looking for ways to serve other people, always the first to volunteer for things that no one else wants to do, and always befriending those that are in great need of a friend. Life has taught us not to judge ANYONE, because most of the time, you will be wrong. I am so lucky and blessed to have a partner in life who I can honestly say is my best friend. We actually LIKE each other, which in a marriage is not always a given :) He is handsome as hell, which is just icing on top of the cake! I love that he's not perfect. He is very aware of his flaws, and works hard at turning them into strengths. Being handed a lot of trials, he has become more sensitive to others and their trials. He gives me back rubs whenever I ask him to, he does the dishes whenever I ask him to, and he does just about anything for me if I ask him to :) I love love love him, and for all of these reasons, Adam Michael Miller is one of my favorite people.

My Favorite People

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute idea to talk about your favorite people... From all you wrote I can see why Adam is one of your favs... He is a funny guy and you two have been through a lot together and I can tell he loves you a lot... THat is good he rubs your back when you want and is there for you always... I tend to share every detail of my emotions and things that happen in my Life with Ellie like Adam does with you... I think in that aspect we are the same... It is good you have a guy that is open and that shares... Many people are in marriages or relationships that don't ever share any emotions and to me that would suck!!! I am glad you are happy because you deserve so much Little Natty... I like when you post on here... CUte New Pic of you Two... Looking forward to the aquarium... Love You- P
