My 1st post

Ok, we'll see how this blog thing goes...I've been hesitant to start a blog, because, honestly, who gives a rip about what Adam and I are up to, right?! But I guess there are a couple of you out there who give a rip, so here goes. One thing I will start off saying is that my biggest pet peeve with these blogs is I don't think people are honest. They paint a very perfect life for everyone to admire, when in reality, life is a mess!! So if you catch me being brutally honest at times, it's because it's all I know how to be. If my life sucks, you'll either hear about it or you won't, but I will not materialize a life style that just isn't so.

In reality, Adam and I have been together for 8 years (almost 4 of them married). We've had some AMAZING times and some TERRIBLE times. We do not have kids, simply because we have not wanted nor been ready for them as of yet. We absolutely want them in the semi-near future, though! I truly and honestly adore my husband. He has overcome monumental obstacles, and we both have become stronger and better people because of that. I have the rare treat of having a husband who likes to talk about his thoughts and feelings, and it makes for a very open and honest relationship.

I have a beautiful family, both mine and Adam's. We are SO blessed to have people in our lives who support us through good times and bad. All together, we make up quite the eclectic bunch, but that's what I love about us!
